What is the Flag Flow?

The Flag Flow is here to support you during those moments when life feels heavy and it’s hard to connect with anything—your emotions, your energy, or the people around you. If you’ve been feeling emotionally numb or stuck in a state of withdrawal, know that this is a common part of Functional Freeze. It’s as though your system has gone into hibernation mode, making it hard to find motivation or even care about what’s going on.

This flow is designed to gently reawaken the energy that feels distant or out of reach right now. Instead of trying to push yourself or force anything, you’ll be guided through gentle movements and practices that can gradually help you reconnect with your body and emotions. The aim is to slowly and softly stir the energy that’s been lying dormant and bring a little bit of life back into your system.

We start with standing movements to help gently engage your body, awakening it in a way that feels comfortable and natural. There’s no rush here—just small, mindful steps that encourage your energy to start flowing again. As you move through the flow, you’ll begin to notice subtle shifts. You might feel a little lighter, a little more present, and perhaps a bit more aware of your own needs and emotions.

The goal of this flow isn’t to go from zero to full energy in one session. It’s about finding those small sparks—those moments when you feel a bit more engaged or a bit more connected. Over time, practicing the Flag Flow will help you build a bridge from that shutdown, withdrawn state back to a place of greater awareness and presence.

Take your time with this flow. Be kind to yourself. Know that every little bit of energy you stir, every moment of awareness you cultivate, is helping you move forward, even if the steps feel small right now. This is your time to gently come back to yourself, to slowly reintroduce the energy that’s been missing, and to remind yourself that reconnection is possible.
